Yes. Everything in the shared kitchen sits on its own, separate from your personal content. Your own cookbooks and recipes stay yours unless you share them.
You choose when you create the kitchen: a shared calendar, shared shopping list, shared pantry, shared recipes and cookbooks. The templates for couples, roommates and collectives set it up for you, or you tick the boxes yourself. After that you can change the name and the icon, so if you want different features, you create a new kitchen.
A new user without active Plus gets one free month when they arrive through your invitation, a shared recipe, a shared book or a shared kitchen. As the inviter, you can earn up to two months. If you already have Plus or a trial, the reward is available as an App Store offer that you need to redeem.
